Alpaca Husbandry, Care & Support
Alpaca ownership can be as versatile a hobby or business as these fantastic animals themselves are but there is one thing all alpaca owners have in common - we all want the best for our animals! Doing the right thing for our alpacas includes annual shearing and regular husbandry throughout the year, some of it easier to do by yourself than others.
We offer support in areas that owners can find reassuring to get a helping hand with - just contact us if you are struggling with any of the aspects of alpaca ownership.
Depending on where you are in the country, we can offer telephone advice, give you the name of a knowledgeable and helpful owner in your area or even pop over ourselves to lend a helping hand.
Additionally to this, we also offer stud services and occasionally have alpacas for sale - or know of some whose current owners we can put you in contact with.

We know absolutely fantastic breeders locally in Essex and across the UK and can point you in the direction of them and their studs.

Alpaca Shearing
While we aren’t taking new shearing clients, we are HIGHLY recommending Scott and his nephew Brooke who are doing a phenomenal job! If we didn’t shear our herd ourselves, this is who we would get in!
Shearing day may not be a very popular day for animals and many owners alike but Scott and Brooke make it as relaxed and pleasant as possible - for all involved!
