Little Lizzie - Walking Female, Non-Breeding
Lizzie, 4yo and not so little anymore now, is being sold as a non-breeding female as she (just like her dam) is unable to produce more than minute amounts of milk and can therefore not nurture her cria, resulting ultimately in a 100% bot!le-reared cria.
Just as all our alpacas, Lizzie has been halter trained and will take treats from anyone’s hand so would also be a great addition to a customer-facing business.
More details, including her fleece stats, can be found here.
Lizzie can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd (breeding and non-breeding females available) of your own. Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Ezra - Alpaca Walking Male
Ezra is 8yo, used to be one of our studs and was castrated in April '24 because we have had a change in circumstances and won't be needing his services anymore; he is now ready for a new job and perfectly suited for a walking business.
Ezra lives without any issues with a group of weanling boys and golden oldies and is somewhere in the middle of the pecking order.
He is fully halter trained and has been to events with us mere weeks after breeding season, behaving impeccably throughout. He would be an asset to any walking operation that uses males.
Ezra will only be sold into a pre-existing or newly-formed herd of at least three males. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to meet Ezra in person.

Lady Edith - Young Walking & Breeding Female
Edith is a light brown yearling female with lovely fleece. She walks beautifully on a halter and would make a great addition for any walking as well as breeding business - and as a very cute pet of course! She does not eat hard feed or take treats but puts on weight without any issues. We’ve led Edith on outings around the farm and she is a lovely animal to have along for a walk.
If you are interested in seeing her ‘24 fleece stats, please click here.
Edith has grey in her bloodlines via her tuxedo grey grandsire Alpha Huckleberry (respectively his sire Jessamine Redlands and renowned grandsire Alpaca Stud Nyetimber) and her dam seems to have pressed copy and paste and created a mirror image of herself - but with improved fleece stats!
Edith can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females available). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Martha My Dear - Walking & Breeding Female
Martha, 5yo, has proven to be a solid mother in her maiden year. She fell pregnant instantly in 2022 (first mating at 3 years old due to time constraints the previous summer) and gave birth unassisted. While her milk was slow to come in initially, she has made up for this over time and still nursed her female cria well into weaning age (we didn't wean her along with the rest as she refused hard feed and Martha wasn't pregnant for '24 or losing condition).
Martha is very confident, walks on a head collar and will take treats out of anyone's hand without hesitation.
Martha has grey in her bloodlines via her tuxedo grey sire Alpha Huckleberry (respectively his sire Jessamine Redlands and renowned grandsire Alpaca Stud Nyetimber). Mated to solid bay black Dewgates D'Artagnan, she produced a mid-brown female with stunning fleece, as dense and long in staple as her own but with much more crimp and fineness.
While Martha has never had the finest fleece herself, she makes up for it in quantity with a dense blanket that usually weighs around 2kg (less in '24 after having nursed her cria for 10 months). Her staple length usually comes in at around 9-10cm, down to 7cm this year. You can see her full fleece stats here.
Martha can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own. Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Lady Sibel - Young Walking & Breeding Female
Sibel is a stunning very dark brown and white yearling female (DOB 12/6/23) who walks beautifully on a halter and would make a great addition for any walking as well as breeding business - and as a very cute pet of course! She hand-feeds but is never pushy about it and is very placid on our training outings around the farm.
We have taken a fleece sample from her at shearing, so please message us if you are interested in seeing her stats.
Sibel’s mother, also for sale and listed here (Penny Lane), and grandmother are both excellent mums and nursemaids who will let anyone drink from them if they need a top up, so I am confident that Sibel herself will make a lovely mum when her time comes.
Sibel boasts grey in her bloodlines via her tuxedo grey grandsire Alpha Huckleberry (respectively his sire Jessamine Redlands and renowned grandsire Alpaca Stud Nyetimber) and her dam’s multicoloured genes trumped her sire’s solid black colour, so she should make an interesting breeding prospect for anyone excited by a bit of colour!
Sibel can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females available). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Penny Lane & '24 Male Cria at Foot
Penny, 5yo, has proven to be a fantastic mother as well as nursemaid to other cria. She is now available with this year’s male cria at foot.
Penny fell pregnant on the first try both last year and the year before and had only not been mated as a 2-year-old due to to time constraints that summer. She had both cria without any assistance and had so milk from the get-go that we were able to milk considerable amounts last year to freeze for potential mergency use this year. Penny has also taken to feeding any other cria that would attempt it while still producing enough for her own to thrive.
She is very confident, walks on a head collar and will take treats out of anyone's hand without hesitation.
Aside from excellent coloured genetics on her maternal side, she also boasts grey in her bloodlines via her tuxedo grey sire Alpha Huckleberry (respectively his sire Jessamine Redlands and renowned grandsire Alpaca Stud Nyetimber). Mated to solid bay black Dewgates D'Artagnan as a 3-year-old, she produced a dark brown female with white markings similar to her own (also for sale and listed here, see Lady Sibel) and has now got a dark brown male cria by solid mid-brown Moat Farm Ezra (who is now castrated and also available)
Penny and her cria can be sold into an existing herd of females (but her cria will need to move in with other young males at 6-7months old) or we can help you make up a new little herd of your own. Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Butterscotch - Young Breeding & Walking Female
Butterscotch is an absolutely fantastic young female, not only is she extremely friendly and loves nothing more than coming up for a scratch and to be fussed over, she is also well-grown (in fact, she was already born well-grown!), has a lovely conformation and a soft, highly processable fleece.
We aren't breeding anymore and, while Butterscotch could just stay with us as a pet, she comes from a maternal line of absolutely outstanding breeders and it would be a shame to not have her go down that same route. The females in her direct line have all always fallen pregnant at the first mating and give birth to big, strapping cria who then go on to gain weight at a rate of 2+kg/week.
Butterscotch carries excellent genetics on both sides (Daer Enahs Streslecki Of EPC (Imp) / Eringa Park The Commandante of ACC (Imp)) and has a lovely dark fawn fleece that combines her dam's fineness and her sire's density. Her dam has been part of the EBV program and has consistently come in the top 5% for fineness but lacks the density that we have been successfully adding via denser studs. To see her full pedigree and fleece stats, click here.
Butterscotch is also fully halter-trained, climbs confidently in and out of the trailer and has been on walks with us around the property. Because she is so friendly, even more so when treats are involved, she would make an absolutely perfect walker for those who built their business around walking / offering experiences with females.
She can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females in all colours available and discounted in packages). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Peggles - Quiet Pet Female & Great Auntie
Peggles is, at 16 years old, one of our older females, has several grandchildren and even one great-granddaughter living with her. She is a quiet, completely unproblematic and healthy alpaca who might as well be 5 years younger and is a fantastic auntie to weanlings and mums waiting to give birth.
While she is able to walk on a head collar, she doesn’t love it and would not make a great walking companion.
We are looking for the perfect auntie / companion lifestyle for her and she would be an ideal option if you were looking for an alpaca to add to another group of calm grannies’ or wanted to make up a new little herd of three females and needed an inexpensive but ever so calm third member.Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Black Treacle & '24 Female Cria - Breeding Female
Treacle is a small-framed, prolific 8yo breeding female. She has had 5 cria so far, all of them conceived at the first mating, 4 of them very quick and unproblematic births while the 5th needed some assistance. She consistently rears her cria into big, strapping animals who significantly surpass her in size and tend to put on around 2+kg/week.
Treacle is a dominant female around food and will take treats out of your hand before anyone else has a chance to get in there. She was used as a walking female before her breeding days, so is perfectly halter trained but is not the biggest fan of it. She loves a good scratch, cuddle and fuss when open but won't give you the time of day while she is carrying a cria (except for treats, she'll still take those!).
Treacle boasts excellent black genetics on both sides (Canchones Referendum, Daer Enahs Streslecki Of EPC (Imp)) and has a very fine jet-black fleece with a big, dark fawn spot on her blanket area (her '23 cria was born the exact shade of that spot). Being part of the EBV program, she has consistently come in the top 5% for fineness but lacks density (and staple length since having her 2nd cria). Previously paired with denser but less fine studs, her cria have tended to lose some of her fineness but have very successfully gained significant density and staple length (historic fleece stats available for her and her crias, please email me to see them. You’ll find her 2024 stats here.
Treacle is being sold with her ‘24 cria, a dark brown female by Moat Farm Ezra who is yet to be registered in case the buyer would prefer to use their herd name straight away. They can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd (breeding and non-breeding females available) of your own. Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Aurora - Walking & Breeding Female
Aurora is a large-framed 2yo female who walks well on a halter and is suited for a walking enterprise as much as a breeding one. She has been starting to bulk up nicely over this past year and to lose her rather leggy look; when she is done growing, she should have as solid a physique as her dam and older brother who can also be viewed.
Aurora is not a dominant female and won't take treats if other (greedier) females are pushing her away but does hand-feed very gently away from them and walks beautifully wherever we lead her!
She boasts excellent black genetics on both sides (Canchones Referendum, Zarza Marley-Ricardo 2nd) and has a lovely jet-black fleece. Due to a change in circumstances, we have stopped breeding and have to reduce our herd quite a bit, so this former keeper is looking for a new home now.
The females in Aurora’s maternal line are all excellent mothers who produce big, strapping cria and have plenty of milk for them, so I fully expect that Aurora herself will also make a great addition to any breeding program.
Fleece stats and further information can be viewed here.
Aurora can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females available). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Prudence - Gentle Alpaca Walking Female
Prue is a 5 year old gentle female who gets o with everyone and is our number 1 go-to when we need a female companion for youngsters or if another female is under the weather.
Prue was born late in the season and caught pneumonia as a young cria which lingered a while and resulted in her growth being a little stunted - she can nearly be called a ‘mini alpaca’! She loves a carrot or apple treat and will confidently take the slices out of anyone’s hand.
Prue is not suitable for breeding due to her small size but hasn’t had so much as a sniffle ever since that initial bout of illness and would make a perfect addition to a pet herd or for a business walking with females.
Prue can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females available). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.
SOLD
-
Beaujolais - Super Friendly Pet Female
Beaujolais is an extremely nosy and friendly 13yo female, barely middle-aged and she would dispute it if you told her so!
When we’re handing out treats, she can be relied on to be front and centre and try to get as close to you as she possibly can. Even without the lure of apples or carrots, Beau will always come over to investigate and give you attention - even if it is probably in the hopes of there being treats after all!
Beau was born with a heart murmur which gave her some trouble as an energetic cria and weanling and she has never been bred for that very reason.
Despite this, Beau has become one of or most unproblematic alpacas over the years and has only needed the vet once in the past decade - and that was because she was constipated!
One very expensive enema later, the vets pronounced her looking fit as a fiddle even with her heart not being 100%.
Our best guess is that she simply can’t cope with continuous romping around, running lap, after lap, after lap like they do as youngsters! While she is perfectly halter-trained, we would not sell Beau to a new home as a walking female just to make sure she will never need to ‘exercise’ more than her boy tells her to but, that being said, she will make an absolutely fantastic pet for someone - especially considering that most alpacas prefer a bit more social distancing than she does! Beau can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females available). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.
SOLD
-
Hester - Fun Alpaca Walking Female
Hester is one of our most fun (and funniest!) females, she is now 12 years old and, like her friend Beau, would be offended to be called middle-aged. While little white Prue is our smallest alpaca, fawn Hester is not just our tallest but, more importantly, also our stretchiest alpaca!
If you are feeding treats, Hester will 100% find a way to worm herself and her long neck in tiny gaps between her friends; no amount of holding things in the air will make them safe from her and she can always be relied on to make you laugh with her antics!
Hester is also not completely sure of her sexuality and does quite like to ‘pretend mate’ particularly our white girls, something that some non-pregnant females do but only a couple of ours are quite as dedicated as Hester. Especially when visitors are around, so yes, hilarity will ensue if you own her!
Hester walks very well on a head collar and will follow (especially a carrot) anywhere at all; she would make a great addition to any alpaca walking business. She can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females available). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.
SOLD
-
Lovely Rita - Quiet Pet Female
Rita is Peggles’ daughter and Prue’s mum and,
at only 10years old, could theoretically still be bred and have perfect cria.
However, she has been flying under the radar for several years now while our breeding efforts having been focused on younger females in darker colours and has also not been the greatest mother to little Prue, so we would prefer for her to find a similar (or the same!) auntie / companion / lovely pet home we are looking for for her own mum.Just like Peggles, Rita has been absolutely no trouble all her life, appreciates a carrot or an apple but won’t push her friends out of the way for them (looking at you, Hester and Beaujolais!). Owning her, like our other pet females, would make a really nice introduction into the world of alpacas; there is a lot to be said for an animal that’s ‘been round the block’ - not that Rita has, born and bred right here! - and simply calmly mows your lawn.
Rita can be sold into an existing herd of females or we can help you make up a new herd of your own (breeding and non-breeding females available). Full ongoing support is provided and delivery can be arranged.

Platinum will need to move in with a group of other boys - we can also help you make up a new little herd.

Quintus - SOLD
Born 2021, Quintus is a very well halter-trained young male with a soft, crimpy and jet black fleece that is great for processing.
He happily hand-feeds and goes on walks but is yet to find a taste for fruit and veg - he insists on alpaca pellets for treats!
Quintus is BAS-registered and ready to move on his own to a pre-existing group of similarly aged boys or can be sold to make up a new herd.

Group of 4 castrated males - SOLD
Kane, Tamar, Kingsley and Lewis (left to right), are 4 years old and looking for a new home due to no fault of their own; their current owners are unfortunately having to downsize. The boys are halter-trained, castrated, fully up to date with all husbandry and ready to move.
This BAS-registered group of firm friends would be an ideal addition for any alpaca walking business as much as a great starter herd for new owners who want to enjoy friendly, personable alpacas.
Quality of new home more important than price.
