Suri alpacas produce a wonderfully silky fleece with ‘dreadlock’ appearance that is perfectly suited for all kinds of crafts and, most popularly, for life-like reborn dolls' hair and toy pony manes and tails with a unique, soft finish.
Please note that all our fleeces may contain varying degrees of VM as our alpacas are happily frolicking around their fields every single day of their lives and especially the longer fleeces (2-year growth) may need more work before you can root them.
However, we are quite generous with the amount of fleece in each bag, so that a 50g bag may end up actually weighing 60-70g and, consequently, will give you a maximum of perfect fleece to work with!
